Home-Made Hummus

Simple and so delicious! I'm picky about my hummus, I want to fresh and I'm not a fan of tahini in my hummus. You can eat it with crackers, veggies, or add to a wrap or salad. Always great to have on hand!


  • 1 15 oz can garbanzo beans
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • S & P
  • Water if needed


  1. Drain and rinse beans, and add to blender. Add other ingredients, blend until smooth. You might need to add a little water to the blender if it’s too thick.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve with veggies, crackers or use as a sandwich or wrap spread!
